What to Expect

The seminar consists of filming an animation short in a three-week intensive course. From theoretical to practical sessions, technical aspects of animation and its foundations will be explored.

  • Theoretical: Illusion of movement, principles of animation, technical aspects of the camera and lights, Stop Motion technique

  • Practice: Breakdown of the script, preparation of materials, assembly of scenographies, animation tests and filming plan


  • Filming


  • Theoretical: Fundamentals of assembly, editing software
  • Practical: Editing, post-production, sound and mixing of the short film

Guillermo Forlenza

Film & Animation Director

This seminar features the one and only Guillermo Forlenza, a well-known film and animation director. He currently resides in Spain but has worked in multiple countries throughout his career. He has been in the industry for over thirteen years and has a lot to share with us from his many experiences over the years.
